Subaru Forester Supercharger Kits

Rotrex superchargers operate much cooler when compared to turbochargers and other supercharger systems, which reduces the engine’s intake air temperature as well as its risk of detonation.

The Subaru Forester is considered a niche model in China, but the 2.5 -liter engine is often used to compare with the Prado 2.7 . Although Forester has many advantages, there are also many disadvantages in the eyes of domestic users. Its acceleration and handling are stronger than Prado 2.7 in the eyes of many people, after all, the car is smaller. After the Prado 2.7 is equipped with the SE-TUNING supercharger kit, the horsepower can be increased from 163 to 230 hp, and the torque can be increased from 245 Nm to 345 Nm, which can almost reach the performance of the Prado 4.0 . The Forester has 240 horsepower and 330 Nm of torque after adding a supercharger, almost doubling its performance.

Because of the model, each bracket needs to be developed separately, starting from measuring the hole position data, then going through professional design software, and finally finishing it with CNC . Another step is to oxidize and then load the car. Therefore, the bracket pictured above is not a finished product.

The layout of the entire bracket plus the main body of the supercharger is shown in the pictures below. All brackets are fixed with the original car screw holes.
The oiler with the blue lid is imported from Denmark along with the supercharger body. Its main function is not only to provide lubrication and traction to the supercharger, but also to cool the supercharger. The oil cooler matched with the oil can is installed under the front of the car. Do not re-drill, and also use the position of the original car to fix it. Also note that the water tank is installed above the oil cooler.

At first glance, the silver-grey water tank has a cold atmosphere. Connect a water cooler and kettle to provide cooling for the boosted air. This function is very practical in the south, and it will greatly improve the combustion efficiency after the air enters the engine. The location of the kettle is relatively close to the firewall, and the water pipe is connected to the water tank and the electric water pump to form a water cooling system. The water cooler part is basically located next to the kettle. The large silver aluminum tube is connected to the supercharger. The air passes through the water cooler and then enters the engine at an ideal temperature, thereby increasing the combustion efficiency and performance of the engine.
