The Rotrex LS Truck Supercharger Kit is the ultimate forced induction solution for 1999–2014 GM trucks equipped with 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L or 6.2L LS-style engines. Whether you’re building a street sleeper or a daily-driven powerhouse, this system delivers unmatched efficiency, drivability, and power capability — all in a compact, OEM-like package.

Designed as a bolt-on, DIY-friendly kit, it installs using factory mounting points, so NO rework / modifications needed on the block. Simple and easy to follow mounting instructions are included.

Thanks to a smart, configurable idler and tensioner position system, pulley swaps are quick and do not require a different belt or additional idlers. Supercharger Kits - FAQ


  1. What is the LS Truck supercharger kit, and how does it work?
    This supercharger kit is a performance upgrade that increases the engine’s horsepower by forcing more air into the combustion chamber. Unlike turbochargers, supercharger kits are belt-driven, providing instant throttle response with no lag.
  2. How does the Rotrex LS Truck supercharger kit compare to kits from other brands?
    Beyond the general advantages of our unique traction drive supercharger technology, this kit requires no modification to the engine bay and allows for a large range of power levels, through easy supercharger pulley swaps. The kit is designed to allow the same belt to be used regardless of which supercharger pulley you go for – so the only part you need to go from 600 to 1200HP is a pulley (supporting mods excluded).
  3. Is this Rotrex supercharger kit reliable for daily driving?
    Yes! This supercharger kit is engineered to provide OEM-level reliability, making it a great option for both street and track vehicles. Proper installation and maintenance ensures long-term durability.
  4. How difficult is it to install this supercharger kit?
    Installation difficulty is subjective, but this supercharger kit is designed as a direct bolt-on, and is within the capabilities of most home mechanics.
  5. Do I need additional modifications to install this supercharger kit?
    This supercharger kit is a bolt-on kit, but it is necesarry to use the ATI Performance Damper, which is not included. Depending on your power target, it may be necessary to upgrade fuel injectors, valvetrain, cooling systems, drivetrain, amongst others. ECU tuning is always required.
  6. How much horsepower can I gain from this supercharger kit?
    Horsepower gains vary depending on the supercharger pulley size, but you should expect to get between 40% to 170% more power, depending on boost levels (pulley size), and supporting modifications. Power capability can easily be changed by changing the pulley size on the supercharger jackshaft – we’ve designed the kit to use the same belt length for all available pulley sizes.
  7.  Does this supercharger kit require regular maintenance?
    Yes, but very limited. The Rotrex supercharger uses a stand-alone lubrication system that requires periodic oil changes to maintain peak performance and longevity. The oil change interval is 2 years or 50.000 miles (80.000 km), whichever comes first.
  8. Does this kit come with tuning?
    No, this kit is purely a supercharger bracket and drive kit.
